Kenny has a Master of Theology degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southern Bible Institute and Seminary in Augusta, Georgia. Kenny is an author and featured writer in several magazines, Christian Newsletters and teaching material. His wife Kathy is an anointed recording artist and songwriter. Kenny and Kathy have three children: Shannon, born in 1989, Morgan, born in 1999, and Christian, born in 2005.
